“ As much as I don't want to write this review for selfish reasons (not wanting to make it any busier than it already is!), but this spot just off the freeway deserves 6 stars! We were skeptical of getting a seat then we met Andrea... she explained how the family business runs and found us a booth right by the massive Marlin. It was a lively atmosphere and we were hungry from the Vegas to OC drive. Blanca was our server and was patient and kind. We had a half dozen oysters- briny and plump the way we like them. The octopus taco rivals Holbox and the Galley Panko taco was hefty and delicious. Andrea stopped by to check on us and introduced us to their homemade fresh churros! An amazing meal on the road. ”

“ The Ensenada style fish tacos are my go to option. Additionally thr Cadillac Margarita are the best. Complete the dinner with the Churros. The service is excellent and the location is very clean. ”

“ My husband and I have been driving past this taco place on our way to Las Vegas for years. We've always wanted to stop, but there isn't a name of the restaurant. It just says "FISH TACOS." We had to attend a funeral in Apple Valley and wanted to stop for a bite to eat first. I yelped tacos and found this restaurant. We stopped in just after they opened at 10:30 a.m. We were the second customers in the restaurant. The waitress took our order, but we waited a very long time before our food was brought to our table. Other customers who came in after us received their food before us. It must have been around 30 minutes before we finally got our food. We did receive our chips and guacamole before the food. The guacamole was delicious. The food finally came. We shared a two taco combination plate, which came with white rice and pinto beans. We got one fish taco and one steak taco. Both were delicious, and they are very generous with their fish and steak. Their prices are a bit high in my opinion. It was $13.99 for a one taco plate. Yet, one taco is $4.85. So, over $9 for rice and beans seems excessive. The two tacos plate was $16.99 so we shared it and couldn't finish all of the rice and beans. I was a little surprised that they charge $2.99 for chips and salsa, which are usually complimentary. I'd give five stars for the food, but the service was not very good so that's why I'm only giving four stars. ”

“ Drove past here all the time but first timer as of today Really good portions, and pretty tasty. Price isn't bad at all. Highly recommend the 2 taco plate deal. Ensenada Fish Tacos were flakey and plentiful. Cilantro rice and pinto beans were a good combo with the tacos. Service was good at the bar, I would expect it to be the same at a table. Good music and tvs are at the bar. ”

“ After a long day on Rt 66, was looking for a decent diner. We had the fish and chips and the fish platter. Both were excellent. The house tartar was a delight. The fish for both was perfect! If we were in town longer we would be back. Good we live a few thousand miles away or we would be here so often. Service was spot on and attentive. The only down side is we are too old for the volume of the music (lol). ”
